As part of our long-standing relationship with the Cream Group we’ve just delivered this summer’s Cream Ibiza campaign which will run between now and August across press, print and outdoor advertising both in the UK and in Ibiza. The campaign features stylised typography and an abstracted 3D rendering of the iconic Cream logo.

We’ve just completed a new social networking and e-commerce site for The Leadmill – the legendary Sheffield live music venue which is now celebrating its 30th year. As part of the contract we also undertook a complete rebrand producing a new logo and brand guidelines.
The Leadmill has a particular significance for Dom Raban, our MD. In the early ’80s he rented an office upstairs where he produced ‘Proper Gander’ a well-known fanzine of the time and documenter of the burgeoning Sheffield music scene. Later that decade The Leadmill became his first client as he embarked on a career as a self-employed designer producing posters for its club and gig nights.
Dom says: “Not only is this a great win for Corporation Pop but it’s also a very special project for me. The Leadmill was my social hub in the 80s and it’s great to see it entering the next stage of its history with an attitude just as young and fresh as it was back in the day. The only downside is it makes me feel incredibly old!”

Down At The Social is the name for Manchester’s newest PR agency. The startup, formed by Daisy Whitehouse and Fiona McGarva, describe themselves as “a young, vibrant consultancy with clients to match” and they are already making a splash with a clutch of high profile client wins. We’d like to think that our dazzling branding and equally retina scorching website will help them on their way!

Christmas has come early at Corporation Pop with the news that, following a three way pitch, we’ve been appointed by Cream Group to deliver the online and offline campaign for Creamfields 2011. Creamfields is the UK’s biggest dance music festival, which attracted capacity crowds of around 60,000 across the bank holiday weekend.
This will be the third campaign that we’ve produced for the group having also delivered Creamfields 2009 and 2010. Not only are we the only agency in the history of the festival to be re-appointed for successive campaigns but we’re also very proud that the 2009 and 2010 festivals were both sell-outs. In fact Creamfields 2010 was the fastest selling festival in the event’s 13 year history – selling out weeks before the event.
This year’s campaign will launch in March 2011 and roll out across a range of online and offline media between then and August 2011. We’re very excited about the creative approach (though sorry we can’t unveil it yet!) and are confident that it will contribute to another very successful year for the festival.
LATEST (28.02.11): We’ve just heard that following a three way pitch we’ve been appointed by Cream Group to deliver this summer’s Cream Ibiza campaign which will run between now and August across press, print and outdoor advertising, both in the UK and in Ibiza.
